Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership:
- Lead daily operations for the residential new construction division.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality expectations.
- Develop and improve operational processes to drive efficiency and consistency.
- Partner with leadership teams to achieve operational and financial objectives.
Capacity Planning & Workforce Management:
- Forecast labor needs and develop workforce plans to support production goals.
- Manage staffing allocation and resource utilization across projects.
- Monitor workload distribution and productivity metrics.
- Ensure teams have the resources and support needed for successful project completion.
Team Leadership & Culture:
- Directly lead a team of supervisors and sales professionals.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Coach, mentor, and develop future leaders within the organization.
- Support recruiting, onboarding, retention, and employee development initiatives.
Project Execution:
- Oversee scheduling, project timelines, and operational performance.
- Partner with sales and field leadership to align customer commitments with production capacity.
- Identify operational challenges and proactively implement solutions.
- Ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.
Financial Performance:
- Monitor labor performance and operational KPIs.
- Support budgeting and cost-control initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
- Drive accountability around operational and financial results.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of leadership experience within residential or commercial new construction operations.
- Proven experience managing supervisors, production teams, or operational leaders.
- Strong background in project management, scheduling, and workforce planning.
- Experience with labor forecasting, capacity planning, and operational budgeting.
- Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams and create accountability.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of operational KPIs.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
